My Story

I'm a Mutual Awakening Practice teacher with the Evolutionary Collective so that others can experience the miracle of slipping under the membrane of separation to the inside where together life is lit up, flow starts, hope emerges, possibilities appear and transformation happens.

Growing up in North Dakota, daily life, work and play, was experienced under a blue sky-dome and expansive vistas of opening to distance horizons. This setting imprinted me with spaciousness as the context for noticing what else is emerging. Rural life heightened my sense of isolation and separation from friends, playmates and even family interaction beyond the demands of work. These two aspects set in place a lifelong quest to resolve separation and experience the fullness of life emerging.

Through the years, I have studied, worked and served in a variety of settings committed to decreasing the barriers to separation and isolation, and opening ways to embrace the sacredness of life arising and sourcing everything. I have degrees in Communication Disorders, Counseling, Ordained Ministry and am a Certified Spiritual Director. In school settings, I worked in teams with teachers, parents and administrators to maximize opportunities for growth and development in children.

Spiritual formation and faith development were at the heart of my engagement with communities of faith. And my own long term relationships (spouse, friends, siblings, companions) are rich fields for experiencing Divine inspired living that evolves through all seasons of life.
